Editing for academic staff
The main academic subject areas I edit include accountancy, finance, education and law. If you have a research paper in another area, please get in touch with me as I have edited papers and theses in a range of other subjects.
I specialise in copyediting and proofreading academic research papers, including formatting your research paper text and citations to comply with your target journal's submission guidelines. If you are a supervisor looking for an editor for your student's thesis, please refer to the Guidelines for Editing Research Theses (revised 25 February 2019) developed by the Institute for Professional Editors (IPEd) for more information on what is and what is not allowed during editing, and also see the Postgraduate students editing services page. |
I have been working with Josephine for over ten years. Josephine has edited a wide variety of work including PhDs, professional articles and research articles. Her work is extremely detailed and her feedback has been, without exception, excellent. Her responses are always timely and always of the highest standard. Personally, I will continue to work with Josephine in the foreseeable future. |
